It Has Been a Minute
So right out the gate…
I have missed updating the website, but I have really enjoyed taking a break from everything.
The five weddings back to back really kicked my ass mentally and I just needed a break.
It has been really amazing everything I have gotten to do in the last couple of months.
Capturing major life events for people, also getting to travel almost 6 hours one way to Ohio to take photos for a family who’s 3 year old is battling cancer, something I have wanted to do for a very long time and finally pursued.
That is a whole different story for another time, but it was amazing. We also got to visit the home town of Neil Armstrong which was pretty badass too!
I have been working on new ways to shoot and edit and so far it has been working out really great, I still am not a big fan of using the external flash it is nice in an indoor setting but I am not a very huge fan of it outdoor, I just need to practice more and get better with it.
While in some aspects it works out great like when you want that high flash look, other times when I am trying to take something more serious it just doesn’t feel or seem right again I need to get better.
I am going to be all over the place on this one and rightfully so, less than two weeks away from it being two months since I have written one of these out.
I also realized I have only written two blogs since September which is crazy to think, I have really dialed back on how much I edit and update this place I need to do better.
I am going to have a goal of doing getter, this year I started out so good but I have drug my feet lately. I know especially with my goals I had. I missed on a lot of them without any time in the year to correct them but shit happens.
Shooting a lot more film as well, like a lot more. I think since the last Blog I have processed over a dozen rolls of film!
I guess this is where the Blog ends, signal has gone to shit and I can’t upload anymore photos. I guess I need to write more this coming week and share more about my time off. Another nonsense everywhere Blog post haha. Anyways, thank you for reading.
